The Star Alliance network is dedicated to making your connecting travel fast, smooth and efficient. With Star Alliance Connections, it is possible to ensure that your transfers are flexible and reliable enough to remain in place, even if you’re unfortunate enough to be delayed. The Star Alliance Move Under One Roof initiative involves adapting certain airports so that all Star Alliance member airlines are all housed in one terminal, which can cut waiting times by more than half.

Star Alliance Connections

While you travel, the Star Alliance Connections team is working to ensure that your travel plans remain in place. With the help of dedicated software, Star Alliance Connection Centres continually monitor your in-bound and out-bound flights and flag any potential misconnections. This ensures that the impact that a delayed flight could have on your journey is minimised.

And, if needed, at select airports a staff member will meet your incoming aircraft and guide you through the terminal or to direct plane-to-plane bus transfers. This ensures stress-free travel even if your flight arrives late at the transfer airport. And, as with all airports associated with the Star Alliance network, your baggage is transferred for you, so you always know where it is.

Move Under One Roof - Faster Transfer Times

The Star Alliance Move Under One Roof concept is exclusively designed to make global connections faster. Wherever possible, Star Alliance member airlines are grouped together in one terminal, which can reduce transfer times by half. This allows you to take advantage of an enhanced check-in area, and Star Alliance Gold members can enjoy an additional exclusive area. Over the next few years, several additional airports will be added.
