HOUSTON, USA- August 9th, 2010
HOUSTON, USA – August 9th, 2010 – The "Star Alliance World Tour" is the main promotional activity at this year's NBTA trade show booth. Aimed at encouraging attendees to visit multiple airlines' the promotion cards have been inserted into all direct members registration bags and will also be available at all airline kiosks and at the central Concierge Desk at booth #2024. The more airlines visited, the higher the chances for NBTA Direct Members to win prizes such as airline tickets as well as the special "Star Alliance World Tour" jackets. Winners will be announced every half hour starting from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and at 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 am on Wednesday.
Following their long standing tradition, the Star Alliance member carriers are again represented at the same booth at the annual NBTA International Convention & Exposition, currently being held in Continental's home town of Houston.
The 20 Star Alliance airlines represented at NBTA last year are being joined by Continental and TAM Airlines, carriers who both have become Star Alliance members within the last 10 months. All participating carriers will have individual desks at the Star Alliance booth and will have representatives available throughout the event.
In addition, Air New Zealand, Continental, Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines will have seats on display.
Continental, together with Boeing, has an additional booth (#1869) featuring a mock-up ob the Boeing B787 Dreamliner cabin.
